Breakout Function for Emergency Exits.

A special feature of this Record FTA 20 FBO is the optional break-out function, which allows this bi-folding door to be used as an escape exit in accordance with local conditions and regulations.

These inward folding doors quickly respond to emergency alarm systems ensuring they open swiftly to ensure all the visitors to a building can exit safely. 

In emergencies, these folding doors are operated by light pressure on the door panel, by freeing the track from its mountings, allowing the door panel and track to open outwards in an emergency

This feature is especially useful wherever there are narrow passageways or where emergencies may occur such as in restaurants, care homes, businesses and hospitals.
