Specifying the Right Speed Gate

This CPD is an introduction (approximately 1 hour) aimed at architects and specifiers of speed gates to provide a good overview of the key issues to take into consideration when specifying speed gates on projects.

By the end of this CPD, delegates will be able to:

1. Establish what threats they are trying to mitigate.
2. Understand the different types of speed gates available.
3. Easily identify how many speed gates they need for each project.
4. Understand the different access control/finishes/sub-floor types, fixings,
    and containment.
5. Know the standards for speed gates and the safety responsibilities involved.
