How does ecoLOGIC work?
ecoLOGIC addresses this by adjusting the door’s speed and hold-open time based on weather conditions and traffic flow. This reduces energy costs for heating and cooling and extends the door’s lifespan.
The results
Research indicates that automatic doors remain open unnecessarily for an average of 288 hours annually. This can lead to energy savings of up to 14,000 kWh per store, enough to power a home for a year or allow an electric car to circle the globe twice. These savings are also equivalent to the CO₂ absorbed by 266 mature trees each year.
