Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

India Law Enforcement, Civil ID, Border Control:

  1. Understand the current landscape (who is who) and what is the full potential for HID products and Solutions. This will include the Enrollment and Identification Hardware and Software, as well as ABIS Solutions. (National and down to each state level)
  2. Tackle the Facial Recognition Market and position the Camera into the Government Sector.
  3. Plan to visit each state as if it is an independent country!
  4. Develop a go to Market Plan

 

India Commercial Market:

  1. Evaluate/Penetrate the OEM Market (Access control, Keyboards, etc….) where L1 is not required.
  2. Open new market potential across several commercial sectors that were unknown to HID, on both, biometrics and Document Scanning solutions.
  3. Tackle the Facial Recognition Market in Commercial Applications.
  4. Develop a Go to Market plan for each state.

 

India Authentication Market:

  1. Take Leadership into presenting and help executing an end to end plan for the L1 sensor and reader development. This will include extensive coordination with Design, Engineering, Product Management, Leadership Team, as well as different stakeholders in India;
  2. Present the current market potential and market attractiveness for HID
  3. Develop a go to Market Plan

 

Channel:

  1. Assess Existing Channels and work on developing new channels of Distributors, VARs and SIs (if this is required) that will benefit the business.

 

Geographical Responsibility: South Asia

Government Involvement:

If any interaction with a state, local, federal, or foreign government entity, or if the use of any such entity's property is required or anticipated in the performance of the Services, describe the nature and extent of such interaction and/or use:

The interaction with any government entity would be educating end users and help selling the HID solution to them.

 

 

Education and/or Experience:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill set, and/or ability required.

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree.
  • Candidates with equivalent education plus relevant work experience may also be considered.
  • Proven ability to successfully launch products and services on a global basis
  • Strong expertise in the area of physical security
  • Understanding of access control systems
  • Proven capability of cross-functional collaboration & ability to gain consensus
  • You are decisive but open to new ideas
  • You are a self-starter, entrepreneurial
  • You are a quick learner
  • Data & analysis driven

 

Language Skills                  

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.             
  • An additional language is a plus

 

Work Environment

  • Employees work primarily in a home office environment.
  • The home office must be a well-defined work area, separate from normal domestic activity.

 

Work Requirements

  • Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
  • Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which you are hired.
