In pursuit of a building refurbishment geared towards enhancing security and implementing touchless control, Cromwell engaged with ASSA ABLOY specifically for the level 1 entry portal. Employing Record’s STA 21 Cavity Slide system, this initiative aimed to offer touchless entry while prioritising hygiene. The system not only ensured controlled access but also maintained safety and reliability for emergency egress. Embracing a full-height design, it incorporated a concealed operator system above the ceiling to achieve a sleek appearance while meeting compliance standards like AS 1428, AS 5007, and NCC.

The project was efficiently executed within a tight timeframe, spanning a total of 5 weeks from order placement to commissioning.
