VP BSI Europe

BSI is currently looking to fill an exciting role of Vice President & Head of BSI Europe, where you will be heading up the European region for the segment. The European scope is around 1.1 BEuro with 5,600 employees. The business model in Europe covers supply chain, sales, installation, and service. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of our products and services to our customers.

The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the European business, including R&D, manufacturing, installation, field operations, service, finance, sales, marketing and human resources. The role reports directly to the Executive Vice President and Head of Entrance Systems and will be responsible for leading and managing a large international team of employees and subcontractors to achieve business objectives.

You will also have full responsibility for the management and execution of the BSI strategy implementation for Europe as well as responsibility for delivering specific projects and processes across the segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic plans, and then implement and drive these in the BSI Europe organization to achieve business objectives and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth and expansion.
  • Ensure the follow up of KPIs and profitability development across the region for BSI, always striving for improvements.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Lead, manage and motivate a large European team of employees and subcontractors to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies including Environmental, Health and Safety.
  • Monitor and analyze financial statements and performance metrics to make data-driven decisions.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Evaluate and implement modern technologies and tools to improve business operations.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve business processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Contribute to and engage in building an organizational culture based on our vales Empowerment, Innovation and Integrity for BSI and the European region.
  • Act as a company ambassador to promote the company and its services.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role in a related industry.
  • Proven experience in managing a large team of employees and achieving business objectives.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • English language, proficient both written and spoken.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong financial management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices and experience of working in a European context.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic plans, driving ambitious growth targets and achieving business objectives.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Able to handle ambiguity, managing and influencing stakeholders, using tact and diplomacy to create impact.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
