Director, Business Development and High Security Sales

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Director, Business Development & High Security Sales 

The Director of Sales will be responsible for leading and managing Ameristar’s Sales High Security Business Development team to achieve outstanding results and exceed the organization’  s financial expectations. 
Qualifications:
To perform the role of Director, High Security Business Development successfully, an individual must meet expectations of each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required.

Education:  
•    Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience

Required Experience: 
•    Successful outside sales experience at Ameristar or proven success leading a multi-person outside sales team 
•    Demonstrated excellence in managing Mega accounts and navigating the hierarchies of these accounts.
•    Clear understanding of both the Data Center and PUV markets as well as negotiating specifications with key owners and influencers within these industries.
•    Demonstrated ability to negotiate sales pricing, purchasing agreements and other contractual criteria with owners and Sr leaders of Ameristar’s business partners and prospects
•    Proven ability to work within a matrix selling organization to successfully implement the organizations strategies across all part of the organization.
•    Ability to communicate technical information effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
•    Ability to travel domestically with occasional international travel (50%+ domestic travel)
•    Strong knowledge of architectural and contractor markets
•    Is an asset to Ameristar’s legal representation, NPD teams, Engineering and other internal departments.
Preferred:
•    Demonstrated experience in recruiting, on-boarding, coaching and development of team members toward promotion or exit from the organization
•    Experience presenting to executives & senior leaders both internally and externally
•    Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate professionally across the organization
•    Excellent organizational, planning, presentation, troubleshooting, and multi-tasking skills
•    Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
•    Strongly prefer this leader lives in Tulsa OK, but this is not a requirement of the role; however, frequent visits to Tulsa will be required.

 


•    Job Duties & Requirement (included but not limited to the following):
•    Devises strategic sales plans for the region as well as targeted markets to rapidly improve sales productivity and meet revenue targets
o    Develops annual sales plan per strategic vertical to achieve outstanding results
•    Develops and implements region-wide sales plans consistent with company vision
•    Sets team member goals and accountabilities (KPI’s); providing performance feedback on results to include annual performance reviews
•    Represents the BSPS organization in an appropriate professional business manner in all actions and activities
