Lendlease has launched a major $800 million upgrade at Liverpool Hospital, a historic healthcare facility in western Sydney. This project aims to modernise the hospital with expanded emergency and maternity services, outpatient facilities, and a new integrated services building, enhancing access and care for the community.

A key requirement was to optimise the use of a single CT scanner across two adjacent rooms, allowing the hospital to perform CT scans more efficiently without the need for an additional machine. The hospital needed a cost-effective and compliant door solution to enable smooth transitions between scanning and preparation for patients.

Record Doors provided a tailored solution with the Record KOS T3 Telescopic sliding door system. This multi-leaf, non-hermetically closing door system was specifically designed for healthcare applications requiring flexibility and precision. Installed as a dividing wall between two CT rooms, the KOS T3 allows one patient to be scanned in one room while another patient is being prepared in the adjacent room.
