King Living, a leading name in Australian furniture design since 1977, is renowned for its premium quality, innovative designs, and exceptional comfort. With 19 showrooms across Australia and 13 globally, King Living wanted to ensure their new Adelaide SA showroom reflected the brand’s prestigious reputation.

As part of a new build, King Living required a front entry that not only provided smooth and reliable access but also aligned with the aesthetic and functional standards of their premium brand. To meet these requirements, ‘Think Windows’ reached out to ASSA ABLOY and Record Automatic Doors.

The Record STA 22H linear sliding door operator was selected for its impressive weight capacity and whisper-quiet operation, making it ideal for heavy-duty applications. This operator can effortlessly handle a 400kg single door or 300kg bi-parting doors, ensuring reliable performance. The door is also access-controlled and installed as a cavity slider, enhancing both functionality and visual appeal.

The installation of the Record STA 22H has provided King Living’s Adelaide showroom with a sophisticated and durable entrance solution that aligns with their brand’s high standards. The project was successfully completed in July 2024, showcasing the collaborative efforts of ASSA ABLOY, Record Automatic Doors, and the builder FDC.
