Service Technician – NSW

What You’ll Do

Technical Service & Maintenance: Deliver timely repairs, preventative maintenance, and fault diagnosis on SKIDATA equipment and sites.

Installation & Commissioning: Install, configure, and commission new access systems across VIC, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Administration: Accurately complete work orders, installation documentation, warranty forms, and parts management in ServiceNow.

Customer Support: Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, providing technical advice and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

OHS & Professionalism: Maintain high standards of safety, presentation, and equipment upkeep, while identifying and reporting hazards promptly.

In this role, you’ll be hands-on, supporting clients across multiple sites, while contributing to the quality and reliability that SKIDATA is known for globally.

 

What You Bring

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a service, maintenance, or installation role.

  • Qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Advanced Electronics (or working towards one).

  • Strong computer literacy and programming skills.

  • Solid problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • A customer-focused mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
