Residential Sales Representative

Door Systems ASSA ABLOY has an immediate opening for a Residential Sales Representative in the Kernersville, NC office. 

 

Responsibilities

Your proven track record in residential construction sales combined with great relationship building skills will allow you to shine in this role.  In this key position you are the primary interface and liaison between many potential residential customers and Door Systems.  You will spend approximately two-thirds of your day in the field providing job estimates (service, remodels and installations), verifying required materials for residential orders, promoting additional features and accessories and generally representing the company to potential and existing residential customers.  To be successful in this position, you must be customer-centric and always representing the company in a positive manner.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of successful residential construction sales experience, preferably garage door sales.
  • Extensive experience and product knowledge relating to the installation, service and repair of residential door opening systems
  • Superior problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills (in English)– in person, telephone and written skills
  • Self-starter with a high level of integrity
  • Generate new residential customers in Triad
  • Grow residential service and install business throughout the Triad
  • Create new construction leads and long-term customers
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
  • Clean and neat in appearance
