Fleet & Facilities Manager

The Fleet & Facilities Manager provides strategic oversight of the company’s fleet operations and real estate portfolio across more than 50 branch locations in the U.S. and Canada. This role is responsible for developing and improving fleet programs, optimizing facility and lease management processes, and ensuring operational efficiency across multiple sites. The manager will lead vendor relationships, support negotiation strategy, partner with Legal and executive leadership, and oversee cross-functional projects related to fleet, facilities, and branch expansion activities. This position requires a proactive leader who can balance long-term planning with day-to-day operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Fleet Management Leadership

  • Oversee companywide fleet operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop processes and policies to improve fleet performance, cost control, and lifecycle management.
  • Lead vendor management for vehicle ordering, upfitting, maintenance, and telematics, ensuring strong service levels and cost efficiency.
  • Analyze fleet data to recommend replacement cycles, utilization improvements, and long-term optimization strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support during acquisitions to integrate new fleets into company standards.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for fleet-related issues and cross-department coordination.

Facilities & Real Estate Management

  • Manage the real estate portfolio across 50+ branches in the U.S. and Canada, ensuring lease compliance and timely renewals.
  • Lead negotiations for lease renewals, acquisitions, expansions, and relocations in partnership with brokers and legal department.
  • Oversee facilities-related project management including new branch openings, relocations, expansions, and facility improvements.
  • Develop business cases and recommendations for executive leadership and global headquarters, including cost analysis and operational impact assessments.
  • Establish standardized processes for lease administration, documentation, and deadline tracking.
  • Build strong relationships with landlords, brokers, attorneys, and internal stakeholders to support long-term facilities planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, facilities management, operations management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in fleet, facilities, real estate, or multi-location operations.
  • Experience negotiating commercial leases or vendor contracts.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and develop recommendations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives or managing multi-site operational projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with fleet or facilities management systems.
