The Senior Web Manager is responsible for the vision, roadmap, and ongoing delivery of the corporate website and related digital touchpoints. This person acts as the bridge between business stakeholders, UX/design, content, and engineering, owning the backlog, driving feature and maintenance priorities, and ensuring the site delivers measurable value toward business goals.

As our Senior Web Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Defining, maintaining, and communicating the web vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap aligned with business priorities.
  • Gathering, triaging, and prioritizing feature requests, maintenance tickets, UX improvements, and technical enhancements.
  • Co-managing the web backlog: write user stories, set acceptance criteria, and collaborating with Dev teams through sprints/iterations.
  • Leading UX efforts: collaborating with designers, conducting user testing, feedback reviews; ensuring the site is user-centered and accessible.
  • Monitoring site performance (speed, reliability, scalability) and defining metrics/OKRs to track progress.
  • Working cross-functionally with content, SEO, marketing, and developers to ensure content strategy, style, governance, and page creation supporting business goals.
  • Continuously driving improvement: marketing innovation, web site optimization, updates, A/B testing, etc.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders: status updates, roadmap changes, trade-offs, dependencies.
  • Coordinating with external partners and agencies as needed but keep core ownership in-house.

 

Your Experience and Background include:  

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5–7 years of experience managing or supporting complex, enterprise-level websites—ideally in a B2B or global organization.
  • Proven track record of working across multiple disciplines (e.g. UX, content, development, SEO) to deliver cohesive web experiences.
  • Experience navigating matrixed or cross-functional environments with competing priorities and stakeholder input.
  • Demonstrated success owning or contributing to a web product roadmap, backlog prioritization, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Prior experience with CMS platforms (Drupal preferred), digital content workflows, and data-informed decision making.
  • Several years (e.g. 5+) of experience in product ownership, web product management, digital product, or equivalent roles.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies, content management systems, UX principles, performance optimization.
  • Proficiency with Agile/Scrum practices: backlog management, sprint planning, user stories.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional features, and to balance technical constraints with stakeholder needs.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to align diverse stakeholders, negotiate priorities, and present trade‑offs.
  • Strong analytical mindset: comfortable with metrics, data, user feedback to drive decisions.
  • Experience with AI-assisted content workflows, or content automation tools.
  • Familiarity with SEO, accessibility, mobile/responsive design, and best practices in web content strategy.
