Engineer, Sr. Mechanical
Sr. Mechanical Engineer needed on-site in Kenosha, WI to support high performance doors.
Essential Job Functions
- Manages projects, changes, development from start through completion
- Gathers and analyzes data and proposed product specifications and determines feasibility
- Conducts business case analysis and planning to commercialize new products
- Consults with suppliers in relation to parts or products to improve products or designs
- Looks for opportunities to reduce cost and improve overall quality and competitiveness
What we are looking for:
- Bachelors’ degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 5-8+ years engineering experience, preferably in product design with a strong background in manufacturing
- Advanced knowledge/experience with industry drafting and CAD standards
- Experience in product design, GD&T, using CATIA CAD tools and DFMEA
- Significant "hands on the product" experience with ability to recognize problems, predict potential outcomes and implement countermeasures quickly to avoid problems.
