CDL Truck Driver

Amarr is hiring an experienced, motivated CDL driver to join our distribution center in West Chester, OH as a full time team member.  This is the ideal position for the person who loves to contribute to the success of a team as well as provide safe, expedient deliveries to our distribution network and customers.

In this position you will:

• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle three to five days a week within the region (one to two overnights expected per week).
• Provide deliveries to customers and other Amarr Door Centers in a safe and timely manner.
• Provide personal attention to customer requests or product needs.
• Perform warehousing and merchandise handling tasks in all phases of operations.
• Perform customer assistance by completion of required staging and assembly tasks.
• Assist with distribution center warehousing tasks such as unloading factory deliveries and other inbound freight, as well as loading dock customers.
• Assist in the completion of production orders if not on the road.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must have a valid CDL license, be at least 21 years old, and possess a clean driving record.
• 3-5 years + experience driving a commercial vehicle.
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines
• Must be able to consistently lift 50-75 lb.
• Ability to learn product and work under pressure.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to operate power tools.
• Good customer service skills.

The Details:

This position is Monday – Friday…no weekends!! The pay rate starts at $35 based on experience.
