We’re looking for a Production Team Member / Machine Operator to join our Lietzke Team in Hendon, SA. Whether you’ve worked as a factory hand, machine operator, process worker, production operator, or you’re looking for a fresh start, we’ll provide training and support to help you succeed.
What You’ll Do
You’ll help manufacture high-quality timber and metal doors for commercial and residential projects. The Machine Operator operates the CNC controlled punching, folding, Laser cutting, routing and rolling machinery to enable the manufacture of the metal products. This includes tooling management and changes, programming and regular machine cleaning and maintenance.
- Assists in a range of routine tasks in a factory environment such as cleaning, stock handling, machining, maintenance, metal and wood working,
- Loading / unloading stock and material preparation.
- Operating machinery such as Beam Saws, CNC Routers, Edge Banders, Brake Presses, Turrets, and Laser Cutters
- Manage materials to ensure minimal wastage
- Working to hourly targets and KPIs
- Conducting quality checks on your own work
You’ll also:
- Report defective goods
- Keep your work area clean and safe
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment (factory, production, assembly, or fabrication)
- Ability to read a tape measure, pressure gauge, level, and square
- Comfortable using power tools
- Reliable, team player, and able to work independently
- Commitment to safety and willingness to follow WHS guidelines and wear PPE
