Mineral Resources Limited (MinRes)

Hybrid revolving, DFA 127, STA 21 & C 127 operators

In collaboration with Record, Mineral Resources Limited (MinRes) partnered with Go Doors Western Australia to install over 77 automatic doors throughout their office. MinRes, an innovative and leading mining services company, boasts a world-class portfolio of mining operations across multiple commodities, including iron ore and lithium.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, MinRes aimed to create a safer work environment with minimal touchpoints to prevent the spread of viruses.

They opted for Record’s range of automatic doors equipped with touchless wave sensors to reduce the need for touch entry. The operators were strategically installed above the ceiling to conceal the beams, maintaining a clean and modern aesthetic.

Installation Details:

  • 2 x Record Hybrid Revolving Doors: Installed for high-traffic areas to ensure smooth and efficient entry and exit.
  • 2 x Record C 127 In-Ground Operators: Selected for their ability to be concealed on the façade and greater power for heavy frameless glass doors.
  • 70+ Record STA 21 Automatic Sliding Door Operators: Chosen for their reliability and ability to be concealed above the ceiling, ensuring a sleek appearance.
  • 3 x Record DFA 127 Automatic Swing Door Operators: Installed to provide additional accessibility and ease of use.

Record’s STA 21 operator was the ideal choice for MinRes due to its reliability and compact design, which was essential for installation in confined spaces.

Additionally, the availability of these operators in Perth through Go Doors allowed for flexible and timely installation without delays from interstate shipping.

Completed in 2022, this project underscores MinRes’s proactive approach to employee welfare by providing a safer work environment.

The integration of Record’s automatic doors significantly reduced the potential spread of COVID-19, flu, and other viruses, ensuring the health and safety of the workforce.
