The Role:
In this role you will work to support commercial construction projects across the country. With the main goal of exceeding calculated profit and the satisfaction of the customer and end-user throughout project completion. Daily activities include communication with Sales to establish large project pricing, the Production to ensure delivery dates, running project planning meetings, scheduling deliveries, managing the Installation crews, ordering materials, reviewing plans and specifications, managing project expenses and keeping detailed records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to travel within the United States to manage projects.
- Project Management from initial invite to bid until project invoice completion and payment.
- Excellent commination skills with End User Clients, Customers, Vendors and Team Members
- Attention to details to determine product information from plans, specification, schedules, and associated information
- Keep records of the projects and ensure the information is accurate and loaded into our systems properly.
- Establish a project program for detailing, manufacture delivery and installation schedules
- Review production orders to ensure all materials being produced in our factory are as per plans, specifications, and contract.
- Manage Installation Crews and/or Sub-contractors on site to ensure installation time frames are maintained.
- Provide the Director of Equipment Installation with reports on the project(s) schedules and progress.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Good time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
What You Will Need:
- Associate’s Degree in Business Management or related field.
- Project Management Certification in the construction industry.
- Previous experience and job performance may be considered in lieu of the others.
- Five plus years of progressively increasing responsibility in a Supervisory or Managerial position.
- Extensive knowledge of Project Management, Scheduling, and/or the Construction Industry.
- Must have excellent communication skills—both written and verbal, at all levels of the organization.
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to reason effectively.
- Experienced in the use of technology to optimize performance operationally.
- Blue Beam / CAD experience a plus.
- Will need to be OHSA 30 certified prior to or after start date.
- Travel up to 50%, air travel required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
