Service Provider Coordinator

We’re looking for a dynamic and strategic Service Provider Coordinator to align performance expectations, drive performance, and ensure seamless operations related to contracting, and billing of our service providers. This role is critical to optimizing cost, mitigating risk, and building long-term partnerships that fuel our business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Strategy & Relationship Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors aligned with business goals
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and external partners
  • Foster collaborative, long-term relationships with vendors across categories
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement plans

Contract Negotiation & Compliance

  • Lead RFPs, RFQs, and contract negotiations with service providers
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and SLAs
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to manage contract lifecycle

Billing Remediation & Financial Oversight

  • Validate and reconcile vendor invoices and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Manage dispute resolution, and documentation for audits
  • Align vendor costs with budget forecasts and financial goals

Skills & Competencies

Strategic & Analytical

  • Vendor lifecycle management and performance benchmarking
  • Risk assessment and process optimization
  • Data-driven decision-making and spend analysis

Communication & Influence

  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Stakeholder management across cross-functional teams
  • Leadership and influence without formal authority
  • Ability to clearly communicate, expressing requirements and expectations to a wide range of individuals

Technical & Financial

  • Proficiency in vendor management systems (e.g., Corrigo, BAAN)
  • Contract lifecycle management
  • Willingness to manage multiple tasks at once and adhere to guidelines, budgets, and deadlines
  • Basic computer skills, especially email, spreadsheets, and presentation creation software

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Customer Relations, vendor management, procurement, or sourcing
  • Proven track record in contract negotiation and billing remediation
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
