Sales Manager Industrial Sweden

 

At ASSA ABLOY Industrial Sweden (BSI SE), we are looking for a driven and experienced Sales Manager to take full responsibility for our new equipment sales in Sweden. 

BSI develops, promotes and sells doors and services to our Industrial customers and  the business model in Sweden covers sales, installation, and service.

 

About the Role

As Sales Manager, you will have the operational responsibility for all new equipment sales in Sweden – both regional and project sales. You will lead a team of 5–10 direct reports (approx. 20 FTEs in total) and ensure our sales pipeline, margins, and win rates meet ambitious targets. You will play a key role in shaping sales strategies, driving performance, and collaborating cross-functionally with installation and project teams. Your leadership will also support the cultural development of ASSA ABLOY’s values – Empowerment, Innovation, and Integrity.

 

Location: Preferably Gothenburg or Stockholm (other locations can be discussed)  

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the sales team to deliver on targets
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and operational plans
  • Drive cooperation with installation teams for strategic alignment and continuous improvement
  • Report actuals and forecasts, with clear action plans
  • Ensure active CRM usage within the sales teams
  • Support the development of the BSI SE business unit
  • Foster a strong value-driven culture and safe work environment

 

Key Competences & Requirements

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving contribution margin growth
  • At least 10 years of B2B sales experience in the Building/Industrial goods industry
  • Minimum 5 years in a Manager-over-Manager role
  • Minimum 3 years in organizational development & change leadership
  • Strong understanding of Swedish building industry laws and labor regulations
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills
  • Experience from working in a complex, industrial matrix-organization

 

Education & Skills

  • University degree (Bachelor/Master) or equivalent executive education
  • Business fluent in Swedish & English
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office, CRM systems)
